Banished (A Personal Poem)

Banished
And as twilight fell over her half of the earth,
The sound of a heart shattering echoed swiftly across the Earth
And was heard even in the most distant reaches of the universe.
She laid shivering and heaving,
A mess upon the soft green grass and under the comforting
And romantic
Light of the Sun's last hour.
An overwhelming numbness crept like venom through her body,
Coursing like a snake on the prowl;
She, in that moment, silently accepted fate.
Come the darkest hour of the night
When even the moon dare not shine,
A passionate blaze erupted forth onto the landscape of her heart,
Where she donned armor build for war
And weilded the blade of truth and love.
She fought away the demons from the landscape at that moment,
And laid her weary head down for rest.
When she arose, sore and weak from yester's events,
She bathed in calmness and security,
Where cool waters lavished her torn and broken skin, and
There she remained for an eternity.
When this eternity had passed, she was swallowed up by the immense void
Of velvety darkness, that
While gentle,
Overwhelmed her so to where she could not breathe.
She shouted for help.
No answer.
She remains completely and utterly alone in the world,
Banished.
